Training all the teachers
I train Pilates teachers. I mentor Pilates teachers who already have a Pilates teacher training and experience under their belt.
Which teachers, from what training backgrounds?
I train all the teachers with all sorts of “training roots”.
Yes yes yes, I am a classically trained and classical Pilates instructor through and through. I trained apprentices to become teachers for 13 years when I owned and grew Clasique as a teacher training/big wellness center in Asheville. My apprentices studied with me for two full years before they tested out and were certified to teach.
But now, since the shift post-covid and post-big studio ownership, and since the evolution of CoreSelf as my 100% business brand and focus, I train and mentor teachers from all sorts of training backgrounds both in person and online. And I love it!
Some have contemporary Pilates training roots. Some have studied with other Pilates teacher trainers and find me for a new angle, new spark, new depth. Some are trained only in the Club Pilates group class method and crave more knowledge to shift their careers. All are welcome here because I feel flexible in my teaching skills and I know I can bend, adapt, listen and then lead you places. It’s been a real joy to train more teachers with a range of experience and background. I learn SO much every time. Whether online 1:1, in person visits and private training, or in group workshops…. we learn from each other, and I feel forever a student.
The most recent workshop at the CoreSelf studio in Asheville drew in teachers from all over the United States, traveling to come together. Plus online attendees from international studios, present too on zoom. It was a BLAST! We worked out, we practiced hands on, we shared of our vast experience and we sought to fill in the gaps in both education and workout.
Building community is really special, and workshops do that. So all to say, all are welcome here. I love training and mentoring Pilates teachers.
